Owning an assistance dog has given me independence and allowed me to be more active in my community - but having to part with my life saving assistance dog so that she may be groomed could be torture. Thankfully taking my dog to Ears To Rears Dog Salon has been a very positive experience. RainBear takes such superb care in grooming my Labrador Retriever from head to toe. She pays extra attention to any breed specific challenge areas, or individual health concerns - while ALWAYS keeping me, the owner, educated and in-the-know! My dog has separation anxiety but LOVES getting pampered at the "spa". Additionally, RainBear (Ears To Rears) helps to teach all of my assistance dogs in training at Phoenix Assistance Dogs of Central PA how to accept grooming straight from puppyhood! I couldn't recommend any groomer more highly!

I brought Gamer to RainBear in a puppy coat I had done
to regrow his coat evenly. Worried about Gamer's skin
being pulled; Along with his occasional dermatitis
I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing any of the
beginning pulling flocks that would also make him itch.
Thankfully and quite by happenstance I found out
about RainBear (Ears To Rears).
What a relief to have her extensive  knowledge to
assist in growing Gamer's coat safely and bring it to standard!

Daisy is my third poodle, so I've had years of experience with having my poodles groomed. Still, when I saw Daisy after you had groomed her, it took my breath away. She could as easily have stepped into the ring at the Westminster Dog Show as to simply come home with me.  How lucky I was to find a superb groomer who is also truly a dog lover, treating Daisy and, I'm sure, every other dog you groom with as much care and consideration as their owners do. You did a magnificent job of grooming Daisy, and she and I thank you very, very much.

I have had dogs for nearly 40 years. I have always dreaded the thought of grooming. I just don't like to do it - but it is absolutely a necessity. I have always chosen dogs that don't have a dense undercoat until Abigail. I wish I could say that I brushed her everyday, but truthfully it has been once every week or two. Her coat is so dense that it really doesn't matter if I brushed her for fifteen minutes or two hours, there was always more hair to get out. Abbi is twelve now and after RainBear's Ferminator treatment Abbi has finally found relief from the bushels of dead hair that was stuck in her coat. And, on top of it all, she has never smelled so good!
Abbi, who is the queen of our house, has declared that RainBear is the official groomer of her kingdom.

Cora and I want to say "Thank You" . You did such a beautiful job on Cora's grooming. I am always so worried about who to trust with her and she is so scared of most people. I have never seen her react to anyone the way she did to you. She wasn't frightened and to see her lick your nose and wag her little tail when you held her was huge for me. You obviously have the magic touch being able to groom her paws the way you did and I have never had her smell so wonderful. For the first time in my life I won't be worried about leaving her with a groomer. Not just a groomer but now a friend. THANK YOU!!!

Maggie, our 2 year old Irish Setter has severe food and environmental allergy problems. She has been on allergy shots, special food and requires intensive veterinary care.  As a result, her coat and skin requires special care as well. Naturally, I’m very careful about my special girl and would not trust just anyone to her care. Rain Bear did a beautiful job with Maggie’s damaged coat! She is highly skilled and most importantly, gentle and compassionate.  We’ll be back for another “spa day” soon!
